Christine Arylo: Testimonials

Personal Coaching
I might be the biggest skeptic of the concept of a "life coach" and Christine has sparked insights in me that I've religiously passed on to other friends and colleagues. And she's inspired me to pursue those "other" passions with as much fervor as I've pursued my professional career. When I'm considering taking the path less traveled she's the alter ego encouraging that first unsteady step.

Wanted to share some great news as you played a huge part in my success over this year - yes it's all the perks that come with review but it's the outcome of a lot of hard work…..Rated AT, merit increase, bonus and stock grants!!  I'm still in a bit of shock.

- Loren, 45

Just a quick note to thank you for all the wonderful insights during our last conversation. My last few days here with my dad have been fantastic and quite different from the first day or two here. I have been able to connect with him in a way I never have before and I feel wonderful.

Friday was a great success and I want to thank you for all your help in preparing for my conversation with my boss. I was able to bask in the victory for a while until I had to manage a conflict I had with someone on another team the day prior. But managing that conflict was a much better experience having the victory with my boss carry me through.

Enterpreneur Coaching
Just wanted to say thanks so much for the supportive call yesterday. My emotions were at the end of their rope and I felt my space had really been invaded yesterday. I really appreciated your "going with the flow" and talking about personal stuff as opposed to my business. I really needed the release, support and permission. Thank you tremendously for beautifully holding that space for me. I feel much more centered and capable.

I loved our meeting today! I feel grounded with the buckets we laid out ... structure is good. Thanks so much for helping me hold the space for all of this, it was getting heavy!!

I’ve begun to shape expectations of what can be achieved through all this work we are doing. The liberation of Laurie is not going to be something that happens epically someday, like a dove release or a prison break. It is going to be more of these tiny changes that happen every day that are not noticeable in the moment, but which accumulate over time and which will have a much more lasting effect.

- Laurie, Executive become entrepreneur, 42, mom

Christine’s impact on my business has been immeasurable. As a budding entrepreneur, she's helped me make what seemed impossible, possible. She's opened up a whole new world of possibilities for me, both in my professional and personal life. She's also been able to help me get in touch with key contacts that can help me grow my business. She will definitely stay an advisor to my future companies for years to come!

I already have a successful consulting business, but until recently, I had some limiting beliefs that kept me from branching out. Christine has helped me re-examine my assumptions and showed me that they were limiting beliefs. Funny, I hired her originally for some executive coaching and business though leadership, but as it turns out, I got a lot of life coaching that has been invaluable for my business. My coach is my secret weapon.

Events
I also co-hosted a “Falling madly in love with me” party at my home with Christine and a group of friends. It was so fun for all of to learn about each other and ourselves as we listened and reflected together. I loved doing the ME collage! We all left with a great sense of the power to create what we want and seek in our lives, a great sense of who we are, and we created some fabulous new friendships along the way!
Thanks Christine!!"

Entrepreneur Coaching Stories
Megan, 32, Founder of Ayurvedic Health Practice

Why did I hire a coach, and why Christine?
I hired Christine as my coach because her demeanor and energy were so positive, funny and easy. She seemed to be someone I could be totally honest around without worry of judgment. I wanted to change the direction of my business and create momentum to build my dream, but I wasn't clear on what this was or how to get focused.

What were the results?
I gained great clarity about not only where my business was, but where I was as well. I learned how my own perspectives were affecting my business, for better or worse. With this knowledge, I was able to access, deep within myself, the power to go with the flow, giving my business new freshness and deeper meaning.

How did I get those results?
In our sessions, Christine asked great, open questions that really allowed me to focus and think about what I wanted and who I am as a business owner. We did exercises that were fun, not "work", and tried on many different hats to gain wider perspectives. We laughed, gained new insights and I jumped into new territory with confidence.

How did working with Christine help me and my business?
Working with Christine opened my eyes as an entrepreneur. She helped my mind open to so many possibilities that I would not have discovered on my own. My business now has a new, fresh flow of energy and I know how to maintain that flow. There are so many directions to go in as an entrepreneur and working with Christine gave me structure to really see each one and confidence to choose which is most harmonious for me.

Why did I hire Christine as my coach?
I met Christine at a pivotal time in my life. I had just been laid off for the first time ever from a job I disliked. I had no real sense of what was next for me. Though the circumstances were different this time around, this place was very familiar to me. I encountered this brick wall many times in my life. It occurred to me then that I had never been happy in my career and if I was to find satisfaction in a job - to get over the wall - I had to do some work on myself to learn more about me.

What was it like?
The coaching relationship began through exploration of my current state. I looked at where I was satisfied in my life and what gaps I wanted to address.  Then we identified goals to work towards. I wanted to understand my values so this became one of my first priorities. I also wanted clarity around my future work direction. Through an ongoing process of inquiry, dialogue, challenges and personal awareness, the answers began to reveal themselves.

What did it help me achieve?
The experience of coaching had a deeper impact on me than just reaching goals - it changed my perspective.  For as long as I could remember, I looked to the outside world to teach me the answers to whatever ailed me, whether it was a job, a love relationship or friendships. Coaching helped me get past the brick wall to find out what truly matters.  After a six-month process, I was able to list my values and have been able to focus my efforts on finding work that matches my value set.  I am more grounded now in me instead of seeking validation from the outside world.
